rory alene
rory alene (they/them) is a multi-media artist, show coordinator, and tour manager currently employed as a digital coordinator at brooklyn based indie label, captured tracks.
rory founded and ran a DIY house venue in new brunswick, NJ called ‘milky mansion’. it was an inclusive trans-run space that prioritized safety, inclusivity, and accessibility in DIY show running as well as collaboration with direct action, mutual aid, and harm reduction groups. milky was one of new jersey’s most established DIY spots, bringing together the local queer community as well as hundreds of bands from across the country over its three year run.
in 2023, they took on the role of tour manager with tula vera on their month long south midwest tour.
one of rory’s exciting cinematic endeavors include their 2018 national science foundation-funded expedition to the greenland ice sheet, where they, led by guggenheim fellowship winning filmmaker iva radivojevic, backpacked across the ice sheet and assisted the production of a sensorial ethnography which was released through laura poitras ‘field of vision.’

liv hernandez grasso
the intersection of music and community has always been where liv grasso’s (she/her) heart lies. she has been a part of the DIY music scene since 2015, attending shows through high school and college, photographing, as well as making and selling merch.
in 2022, she booked and managed skylar pocket’s ‘to hell with heaven’ tour, and shortly after, she toured professionally as hospitality coordinator on role model’s Rx tour through the midwestern US.
she recently finished a term as administrative intern at ground control touring. she joined the milkman booking team to get her foot in the door of management and booking and to assist in curating a warm and welcoming community. liv graduated from montclair state university in 2022 with a bachelors degree in communications and media arts, and she is an off-Broadway electrician by trade.
